The Kominas are desi punk outfit comprised of four brown sons of south asian parents. Inspired greatly by Taqwacore, The Kominas released an album in 2008 called Wild Nights in Guantanamo Bay. Ever since the media has stuck them to this “phenomenon” like white on [basmati] rice.
They play shows and record music and find themselves in the company of people like George Romero and Aamir Khan. Sometimes they make short youtube movies too.
